Slow Cooker Filipino Chicken Adobo



Slow Cooker Filipino Chicken Adobo is a flavorful and tender dish made with chicken thighs marinated in soy sauce, vinegar, and spices. Slow cooking allows the flavors to meld together perfectly, resulting in a delicious meal that's easy to prepare.

Ingredients:

  • 3 lbs chicken thighs, bone-in, skin-on
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp black peppercorns
  • 3 bay leaves

Instructions:

Place chicken thighs in the slow cooker

In a bowl, mix soy sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, garlic, onion, peppercorns, and bay leaves

Pour the mixture over the chicken

Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until chicken is tender and cooked through
