Bison Beer Burgers with Blue Cheese Garlic Spread



These Bison Beer Burgers are a delicious and unique twist on the classic burger. The use of bison meat adds a rich and lean flavor, while the Blue Cheese Garlic Spread brings a creamy and tangy kick to each bite. Perfect for a backyard BBQ or a weeknight dinner!

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground bison
  • 1/4 cup beer your choice
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 burger buns
  • 1/2 cup blue cheese crumbles
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • Lettuce, tomato, and onion slices for garnish

Instructions:

In a mixing bowl, combine ground bison, beer, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper

Mix well

Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties

Preheat your grill or stovetop pan over medium-high heat

Cook the bison burger patties for about 4-5 minutes per side or until they reach your desired level of doneness

While the burgers are cooking, prepare the Blue Cheese Garlic Spread

In a small bowl, mix blue cheese crumbles, minced garlic, mayonnaise, and sour cream until well combined

Toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until they are lightly browned

Spread the Blue Cheese Garlic Spread on the bottom half of each burger bun

Place the cooked bison burger patty on top of the spread

Top with lettuce, tomato, and onion slices, if desired

Cover with the top half of the bun and serve hot
